Young climate activists organize three days of protests all over Denmark

The young climate activist group The Green Youth Movement will hold demonstrations in six cities over the next three days.

On Thursday there will be protests in and , on Friday in and and on Saturday in and .

It will reportedly be the Green Youth Movement’s largest movement to date.

The aim is to focus on climate during the election campaign
The demonstrations take place a few days before ’s general election on November 1-

However, the Green Youth Movement would like to emphasize that it is independent of party politics.

“During our demonstrations in six cities, we will put up posters, hold campaign workshops and a lot of other activities. Our movement has never been bigger. Young people throughout the country are fighting for a green choice. We take advantage of that by joining forces all over the country,” explained Esther Bünemann from the Green Youth Movement.
