Strong gender differences
Looking at top preferences when assessing employment, female respondents said promoting work-life balance was most important, followed by a friendly work environment, managers who will support their development and flexible working conditions.
A competitive basic salary was number five for the women.
Meanwhile, male respondents ranked a competitive base salary as their top priority, followed by managers who will support their development, high future earnings and a friendly work environment. An encouraging work-life balance was fifth.
