There is nothing but love between the two. Australian goalkeeper Mathew Ryan joined FC Copenhagen in August. But he remained on the bench in the first hole of the season, while the Polish stopper Kamil Grabara kept goal for the Danish club.
The situation was not what Ryan expected when he arrived and he said in an interview with TV2 just before the World Cup that the reason Grabara was first choice goalkeeper was simply political. Then there was a clash.
Wait for the right time to respond
After Ryan’s big mistake against Argentina on Saturday, the third-ranked Polish keeper didn’t wait more than 10 minutes before reacting.
“It must have been politics,” Kamil Grabara wrote on his Twitter account before adding a wink smiley.
Handles it internally
The two goalkeepers have both been eliminated from the 2022 World Cup in the round of 16, as Australia and Poland lost to Argentina and France respectively on Saturday and Sunday.
Therefore, they both soon return to their club, where the atmosphere seems to be quite tense between the two men.
FCK told TV2 that they had to deal with the matter internally.
