They didn’t intend to go to Denmark next year, but here they are! The Californian funk/rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at the 2023 Odense music festival Tinderbox.
The 23-day world tour includes some other countries in Europe, but Denmark is the only Scandinavian date on the 40th anniversary tour of the legendary band, which was formed in 1983.
“It’s a real pleasure to finally be able to present one of the world’s most influential rock bands,” said the organizers.
The band is known for their many hits: their song ‘Californication’ from 1999‘ sold more than 15 million times worldwide. Other bestsellers include ‘Scar Tissue’, ‘Otherside’, ‘Can’t Stop’ and ‘Snow (Hey Oh)’.
