Subsequent investigations revealed that the threat was unfounded and led to one person being arrested on suspicion of falsely reporting danger. The train was held at the station for about an hour before it was allowed to continue its journey south towards the capital of Finland.
YLE on Sunday reportedReferring to a passenger on the train, the passengers were initially told that the train had stopped due to a technical fault. Shortly after, passengers were told to exit the train due to what the passenger called a “bomb threat”.
