Minnesota United signs Swedish D Mikael Marques

Minnesota United FC announced the signing of Swedish defender Mikael Marques on .

The 21-year-old comes from AFC on a three-year contract with a club option until 2026.

“Mikael is highly recommended. Several big teams in , and became interested, but we got through a good contact by us who felt that Mikael had so much upside,” says Minnesota’s head coach Adrian Heath in a press release.
