Denmark rushes to help in the aftermath of a devastating earthquake

The 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck in southeastern Turkey near the Syrian border, and there are reports of heavy casualties in both countries.

According to a CNN article today, over 4,300 people have been confirmed dead in Turkey and Syria. About 15,000 people have been injured.

Rescue operations have been hampered by freezing cold and aftershocks that reverberated throughout most of Monday.
