On Monday, US President Joe Biden appeared in the Ukrainian capital Kiev side by side with the country’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. The visit is taking place in connection with the anniversary of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine. Biden pledges continued support for Ukraine’s valiant fight against the Russian invasion forces.
Joe Biden later repeated his pledges during a major speech in the Polish capital of Warsaw, sharpening his criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin for the war on terror.
At the same time, voices are being raised within the Republican Party for the US to scale back its support for Ukraine. Do these politicians speak for a majority of American public opinion, or are they a vocal minority? We are hosted by Anna Wieslander at the American think tank Atlantic Council.
