The Minnesota Wild acquired forward Oskar Sundqvist from the Detroit Red Wings on Friday in exchange for a 2023 fourth-round draft pick.
Sundqvist, 28, has scored 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists) in 52 games this season.
He has 116 points (47 goals, 69 assists) in 340 games over eight seasons with the Pittsburgh Penguins, St. Louis Blues and Red Wings.
The Penguins drafted the Swede in the third round in 2012 and he won Stanley Cups with Pittsburgh in 2016 and St. Louis 2019.
