1 May deadline for changes
Once in, users can make changes to their Annual Statement until May 1 – something around 750,000 people have already done, although it’s only been available since Friday.
The Tax Agency revealed yesterday that the changes the public have been particularly interested in are:
– ‘Driving deduction‘: the deduction for journeys between home and work.
– ‘Service deduction‘: the deduction for certain services (such as cleaning, gardening and looking after children) carried out in the home.
– ‘Travel expenses‘: the travel expense deduction in connection with work outside the home.
Currently the wait time to log in is around 15-20 minutes.
