The split within Foxtrot and the violence in Uppsala: “Never seen such ruthlessness before”

In the past week, Uppsala has been hit by a long series of acts of violence, two people have been shot dead and further shootings have occurred. The police have launched a special incident and experienced police officers, with over 30 years in the profession, describe the situation as the most serious they have ever been involved with.

It turns out that the background is a split within the Kurdish fox network Foxtrot.

The woman, who was shot dead on September 7, is the mother of a 33-year-old man who has belonged to the absolute top tier of the network. We call him the Doctor, a name by which he should be known in the criminal environment.

A conflict has arisen between the Doctor and the Fox, which now leads to relatives becoming targets.

After the Doctor’s mother is shot dead, there are several shootings aimed at relatives of the Fox. But even people with no connection to the network are affected – on Tuesday morning, a 23-year-old man was shot dead at an address in Uppsala. The actual target is believed to be a close relative of Räven.

Why the conflict and division arose is not completely clear, according to information to P3 Krim there are several different theories.
One is about criticism of Räven’s leadership and judgement. As an example of this, the murders of the two 14-year-old boys from Nyköping who were recently found dead in different places in the Stockholm area are highlighted. They had, as we told you before, been included in chats connected to Foxtrot.

Another theory is that it is about drugs, money and loyalty. Recently, for example, there was an indictment that shows how Räven went behind the back of someone in his own network and tried to rob him of drugs.
