Neither children nor parents have benefited from a divorce reform, which came into force in 2019. It was supposed to shield children and ensure simple processes for families, but this has not been the case.
It shows a report from Vive, the National Research and Analysis Center for Welfare.
Изводът е, че родителите са станали по-недоволни от начина, по който властите се справят със случаите на свиждане, пребиваване и попечителство.
The purpose of the reform was also to help the families to handle the cooperation and have a better everyday life, but this has not happened, the study reads.
The survey is based on questionnaire data, which 1515 parents answered before the reform and 1589 parents answered after the reform.
According to Vive’s study, there are several reasons why parents are less satisfied after the reform.
63 на сто от родителите заявяват след реформата, че процесът е бил твърде дълъг. Преди реформата беше 50 процента.
According to Politiken, Minister of Social Affairs and the Interior Astrid Krag (SocDem) calls it “tragic” and “not satisfactory at all”.
– It is not enough that we have a system where the children get more pinched. Therefore, the government is also planning to set aside an additional three-digit million amount on the forthcoming Finance Act.
“We think we have to,” she told the newspaper.
