Die FDP will private Anbieter zum Corona-Test

It is important to “scan all corners of Denmark” to increase the test capacity in relation to coronavirus.

Therefore, it is good if private companies can also contribute and thus make the waiting times shorter.

This is what the Liberal Party’s health spokesman, Martin Geertsen, says.

On Friday, Dansk Industri (DI) proposes to bring more private suppliers into play and supplement the test system in the public sector.

– We think it is great if there are private companies that – in addition to what they already had to supply to the public test system – also have a capacity that enables them to make additional capacity available , says Martin Geertsen.

It is in connection with several days of waiting to both have a corona test performed and get answers to even the same test that DI has come up with its proposal.

Because while there are currently 46 places in Denmark where you can be tested without having symptoms of coronavirus, there was at least a four-day waiting time in 15 places on Wednesday.

Martin Geertsen wonders if it turns out to be the case that the government has not sought the opportunity to get support from private companies before.

This is because the government and the Folketing in the latest agreement on the reopening of Denmark set a goal that 80 percent of the population must have access to tests within 24 hours.
