Rainfall in Eastern Finland and Lapland is expected to begin on Wednesday evening and spread to other parts of the country on Thursday.
Heavy rain or snowfall may occur on Friday in several parts of Finland, including southern Lapland, northeastern Finland and Kainuu, while there are likely to be strong winds and stormy weather in southern Finland.
